*Very special thanks to the DCFDW members who attended the phone and text banking at the Women’s National Democratic Club last night.  We joined forces with Rev. George Holmes, Chair of the DCDSC Faith Council along with the Caribbean/African Faith Council to do help get out the vote.  We made the Federation’s presence known as we worked with other committed workers and had a great time.

*We’re very appreciative of the officers and members who have been volunteering to do phone or text banking and GOTV for the Clinton campaign and who have been actively engaged in the local elections.

*Congratulations to the DC Democratic Women’s Club for their very successful workshop: “A Pivotal Discussion on the Statehood Referendum.”  It was well attended and very informative.

*Our Theme for the Year is “Building Bridges – Taking Action.  Let us know if you want to help!

* Next DCFDW Meeting – Monday, December 12, 6:30 pm; “Political Appointments.”

Words of the Week:  “Our vote is the ultimate way we go high when they go low.” “How do we go high? We vote!” – First Lady Michelle Obama, October 27, 2016
